Post Edited 7/3/09: After talking to my agency, they have recommended that we not have a blog until Little One's adoption has been finalized. So, I am sorry but this will all have to wait. I will update you once we can blog publicly again.
I'm so sorry to hear of all of this! Are you posting on the agency forum at all? I would love to know where you are in the process now. I look forward to you blogging again in the future.
Not sure what happened, and I miss the updates. But, as the adoptive mother of four, I understand you do what you have to do to protect your family and the process. Praying your special little angel is home soon. Even if you continue to not blog, we would love to see a complete family picture.
Hey there, I'm still praying for your family as well. This happened during our adoption process and I had to shut our blog down as well. After awhile, I began writing posts on what was happening- only I didn't post them until all the kids were home. I was afraid I would forget what was happening and how it happened. So, I just made them drafts and then posted them all later. My readers were then able to go back and read about the process and what happened. We're hoping the rest of the process goes smoothly for you and that things progress quickly. I know you're anxious to get your baby home! Blessings!
I am sorry to hear about this. Please let us know if you do blog again so I can keep up with you guys. I am not a good blogger, but I love to ready about yall!
Hi, I found you on an adoption forum. I hope you don't mind, but can you email me at cuemommy@gmail.com. I am a deaf mom looking to adopt a deaf boy from anywhere in the world. We are a family with four children. You mentioned an agency that has deaf children. I'd love to hear more about it.
Hi, I found you while googling about special needs adoptions. I've been teaching deaf students for 5 yrs at a residential school (total teaching - 17 yrs) and am a minister/missionary to the deaf. I have thought about adopting a deaf child for years and am now even more interested than before. My students are constantly stealing my heart. Please contact me, when you get the chance, and give me more information and ideas to look into. I'm open to other races/countries as well. Thanks so much! Lee Ann Harbin at Gourmetlah@hotmail.com
I was a follower of your blog...I think and pray often about your little Amy. If you have a new blog sometime, I'd love to have it! (bethy_blu2@yahoo.com)

ReplyDeleteAs much as we miss the updates, this season of bloglessness :) might be a blessing for you. And Amy's finalized adoption is of utmost importance!

Really hope everything is going OK with your adoption. I was new to your blog and you seem to have a lovely family.
